Dr. Press earned his medical degree from Cornell Medical College and went on to complete his post-graduate training including a residency in urology at Long Island Jewish Hospital. While there, he trained with both Dr. Arthur Smith and Dr. Gopal Badlani, who were pioneers in their respective fields of urology. Dr. Press is a leading expert in performing sacral nerve neuromodulation with the Axonics Sacral Nerve Stimulation System for overactive bladder, as well as neurogenic bladder. A board-certified urologist, Dr. Press is also renowned for his expertise in the use of the Greenlight laser for treatment of prostate obstruction in men who do not respond to traditional medical therapy. In addition, he specializes in minimally invasive treatments for kidney stones. Dr. Press is also trained on the Da Vinci Surgical System and performs robotic prostatectomy, as well as robotic partial nephrectomies and pyeloplasties.
