It's obvious she is way smarter than me and can hold you on your every word for clarification of one's assumptions vs her advisement. I trust her emphatically. IT is not a contest of wit nor obedience of the doctor's superiority. She gets to the bases and roots of your inquiries and defines what her role is to be vs consultation with other MD's for other concerns. SHE checked me on many of my own expounded assumptions; I can now dismiss some fears and attend to following her advisement. Because she wanted to know what I "knew!"
