Michael Paul Lavelle, MD

Michael Lavelle, MD, is a board certified Cardiologist with subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Lavelle then pursued his postgraduate training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he completed his residency in internal medicine and served as Chief Medical Resident. He subsequently completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease, during which he was selected as Chief Fellow, followed by advanced subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology. After completing his training, Dr. Lavelle joined the faculty at Columbia University as an attending physician in cardiac electrophysiology prior to his transition to Catholic Health. As a Long Island native, Dr. Lavelle is deeply committed to caring for the community he has long called home.
