Dr. Giuffrida was EXCEPTIONAL in taking all the time that I needed to always listen to & understand my concerns. He ALWAYS FULLY ANSWERED all of my questions at proposed medical options and treatments (risks/benefits). When I did not understand an _____, he was always patient to explain in another way until I understood what he was saying. He listened to my concerns about treatment/surgery and was willing to change his recommendation, when medically-appropriate to INITIALLY treat me conservatively to try to avoid surgery which I greatly appreciated. Even though Dr. Giuffrida is a surgeon, he initially recommend TREATING THE CONSERVATIVE in a effort TO AVOID SURGERY.

Dr. Giuffrida was A breath of fresh air. Coming in with a concern about the possibility of having a biopsy it's quite frightening to someone like me. The doctor took his time, listening to me, addressing any and all of my questions or concerns. And explained every detail of what would happen from that day forward. At the end of my appointment, he actually gave me his cell phone if I should have any questions do not hesitate and use that. What doctor does that no doctor I've ever come across. I am so happy that my cardiologist had recommended this surgeon to me. I have the utmost faith in him. He as well took a stressful situation and did his very best to calm my nerves and explain everything and that he would call me the minute he got the results of the biopsy. The best part about that I know for a fact, he will absolutely call me the moment he gets that biopsy. Thank you, Dr. Giuffrida for being a one of the kind doctor

Smooth sailing

I really liked the doctor and feel like he will do a great job. My only criticism is that he spoke very fast. He apologized and spoke more slowly. There was a lot for him to explain and I asked a lot of questions. He did a fabulous job of clearing explaining everything and even drew a few pictures. I feel confident with him performing my surgery.
