Marc E. Sher, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is the System Chief of Surgical Business Development and Strategy at Catholic Health. A board-certified general and colorectal surgeon, Dr. Sher is nationally recognized for his expertise in advanced laparoscopic techniques and is consistently ranked among the top-performing surgeons in New York State. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Sher has combined clinical excellence with leadership and innovation. He previously served as Associate Chairman of Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and as President of both the New York Surgical Society and the New York Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, roles that reflect his influence in shaping the profession.
