Claudia G Gidea, MD, FACC, serves as Director of the Advanced Heart Failure Program at Good Samaritan University Hospital, bringing more than 15 years of clinical, research, and academic expertise. A nationally recognized leader in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, she previously led the Advanced Heart Failure, Heart Transplantation, Mechanical Circulatory Support, and Cardiogenic Shock programs at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. She also held leadership roles at Mount Sinai and NYU, overseeing heart transplant, LVAD, and cardiogenic shock programs. Dr. Gidea has authored numerous publications in her field and is an active member of leading professional organizations, including the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, the Heart Failure Society of America, the American Society of Echocardiography, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association.
